A 400 kg car travels at 15m/s on a circular track of radius 200m.

The user may choose to view the Free Body Diagram of the Car or the Track.

In this animation, the car is not accelerating.

This is not only a rotating frame. Here, The moving frame is on the car.

  1. A pink arrow reprsents the normal force from the track, on the car.
  2. An orange arrow reprsents the friction force from the track, on the car.
  3. A green arrow reprsents the gravity force on the car.

  4. A light blue arrow reprsents the normal force on the track, from the car.
  5. A purple arrow reprsents the friction force on the track, from the car.

A red sphere represents the point of application of forces on the car.

A blue sphere represents the point of application of forces on the track.
